In Malaysia Type Approval Certification, authority doesn’t specify the list of mandatory products for type approval certification. However, through official document issued by SIRIM called eTAC/DOC/01-1.1, it’s stated that the equipment scope covered by Malaysia Type Approval include Wired, wireless, or combination between wired and wired equipment. This can be put into two categories below:

  1. Customer Premise Equipment (CPE), which also include Hybrid equipment, and
  2. Network facilities
