Obligation to Enclose Summary of Page Reference on the Test Reports

Summary of Page Reference

Dear Valued Customers and Friends,

Since the issuance of Decree of SDPPI No. 11 of 2021 concerning Recognition of Overseas Test House for the purpose of Telecommunication Equipment certification, there are many questions especially about dictum number 3.

Based on the third Dictum, overseas test houses must attach a summary of page reference on the Test Report that is related to the technical requirements applied in Indonesia. But at that time, there’s still no guidance or fixed format about how this summary should be arranged and what information should be included. Therefore, to clear this confusion, on June 7th 2021 SDPPI issued an official announcement Number 457/DJSDPPI.5/SP.04.09/06/2021 to explain about obligation of enclosing a summary of page reference on the Test Reports

According to this announcement, it is hereby conveyed:

  1. Application of telecommunication equipment certification that uses Test Report issued by an Overseas Test house must attach summary of page reference on the Test Report that are related to technical requirements applied in Indonesia;
  2. This Summary of page reference on the Test Report, as referred in point Number 1, should be issued by the Overseas Test house;
  3. Format of this summary of page reference on the Test Report (LHU) as referred in point Number 1 is listed in the document below [from page 3 to page 14];
  4. Provisions in this announcement started to take into force on July 4th, 2021.

Below is the copy of SDPPI’s announcement. This announcement contains summary of page reference format that should be enclosed in the test report.

From page 3 to 14 of the document, we can find some tables that contain testing parameters for each feature/technologies along with the limit. Test house needs to fill the “column” and “page” section. So, it will be easier for the evaluator to find the desired information in the test report.

Another benefit from this table is that from here, we can understand testing parameters applied in SDPPI as well as the limit for each parameter.

That’s all we need to announce. Should you have any difficulties in understanding the table, feel free to contact our contact windows. Take care, and have a good day!
