Lastly, let’s talk about the enforcement date. PERMEN KOMINFO NO 3 TAHUN 2024 was promulgated and officially published on February 23rd, 2024. However, article 63 stated that this regulation will be enforced after 90 (ninety) calendar days from the date of promulgation. As informed, promulgation date is February 23rd, 2024. Therefore, based on this article, the regulation should be enforced on May 23rd, 2024.
And When this Ministerial Regulation comes into force, the Minister of Communication and Informatics Regulation Number 16 of 2018 concerning Operational Provisions for Certification of Telecommunications Equipment and/or Equipment (State Gazette of the Republic of Indonesia of 2018 Number 1801), is revoked and declared invalid.
