Cambodia Type Approval can be processed through paperwork. There is no need to do product test. Therefore, we don’t need to send samples and conduct local testing there. This is why the lead time is quite short.
To obtain Cambodia Type Approval certificate, lead time is about 15 working days or around three weeks. The process is completely document evaluation. TRC will evaluate technical documents such as user manual and specification sheet, and test report of the product. Once it is declared as complied, certificate will be issued.
Then, how long this certificate will be valid? Regarding validity, TRC certificate will be valid forever. There is no validity period for the certificate. So, once the certificate is obtained, you’re free to export and sale the product to Cambodia, until the end of the product’s life cycle.
