In order to issue type approval certificate timely, there are some things we need to prepare in advance. Some of these are the required documents, certificate holder information, product information, and in some cases, samples. Especially for documents, this is one important thing to prepare in advance. While preparing other requirements, usually documents are submitted first. And application can run when the documents are completed.

Especially for UAE type approval, document plays an important role in the process. This is especially because UAE or TDRA approval, is processed through document evaluation approach. That’s why the completeness of the documents is a determining aspect to the success of the approval certification process. Then, what are the required documents when processing TDRA approval? Here is the list:

  1. Full Official Technical Data sheet or specification sheet of the Product.
  2. Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC) Test report based on Radio frequency.
  3. Radio Frequency (RF) Test report based in EN standards applicable to each wireless technologies.
  4. RF Exposure & LVD (Low Voltage Directive) Safety Test reports.
  5. Pictures of the product.
  6. If the product comes with a SIM then the below 2 documents are also mandatory: GSMA certificate with TAC code and IMEI declaration

Once the documents above are completed, we can submit it to TDRA for evaluation. UAE type approval certificate will be issued once evaluation is passed and product is declared as “comply” with the applied standard in the UAE region.
