Today, December 3rd 2019, SDPPI issued new policy KEPDIRJEN SDPPI NOMOR 197 TAHUN 2019. This policy is to revise the previous KEPDIRJEN SDPPI NOMOR 183 TAHUN 2019 that concerns about recognition of International Laboratories for Cellular Phone, Handheld Computer, and Tablet (HKT Products) certification.

In this new policy, it’s confirmed that after doing internal evaluation, SDPPI has found several international laboratories which are actually qualified to be recognized for doing Cellular Phone, Handheld Computer, and Tablet certification. So, based on this founding, they decided to include these international laboratories into the list of recognized-International Labs for HKT product. Is your lab included into this list? You can check in the attached document below.
Please be informed that this regulation is just to revise the Recognized-laboratories list. While the period of paperwork acceptance for HKT product, it is still the same, which is April 15th 2020 (based on KEPDIRJEN SDPPI NOMOR 183 TAHUN 2019 ).
