In this early of January 2017, we hope that you are always blessed with joy and happiness. And now, we are writing here to announce you several points regarding to the latest announcement by SDPPI on January 4th 2017 about LTE-based devices certification (the link of this News:https://sertifikasi.postel.go.id/home/news?id=17).
Based on the Peraturan Menteri Nomor 27 tahun 2015 about technical requirements of LTE-based device, every LTE device that is about to apply for SDPPI Type approval certification have to obtain TKDN (local component) approval first. In other word, LTE device that will apply SDPPI Type Approval Certification should contain local component with the level as followed:

- 30% Local Component Level for Base Station
- 20% Local Component Level for Subscriber Station
Further, this regulation also states that the containing level above will only valid until the end of 2016. So, starting from January 1st 2017, the new ratio has been applied with the detail as followed: For LTE-based communication devices that operate in frequency 2100 MHz, 1800 MHz, 900 MHz, and 800 MHz that will apply for SDPPI type Approval Certification, they should contain:
- 40% Local Component Level for Base Station
- 30% Local Component Level for Subscriber Station
While for LTE-based communication devices that operate in frequency 2300 MHz, the level above will be applied by the early of 2019 (January 1st).
