New WLAN Technical Requirements was Issued by SDPPI. What’s New from This?

Dear Valued Customers and Friends, hope this announcement finds you well.

On May 17th 2019, SDPPI issued a series of new regulations, and one of these is Directorate General of Post and Telecommunication number 2 of 2019, or “PERDIRJEN POSTEL No. 2 Tahun 2019”. This regulation concerns about “New Technical Requirements of Wireless Local Area Network (WLAN) Device”.

Bringing many new updates, this regulation is aimed to replace previous WLAN regulation which is Communication Ministry Regulation Number 28 of 2015 or “PERMEN KOMINFO No. 28 Tahun 2015. Below is the copy of this new regulation for your reference.

As stated above, there are many updates about New WLAN Technical Requirements mentioned on this regulation. So, to bring better understanding about this, below we resumed these new technical standards mentioned on the first attachment of PERDIRJEN POSTEL No. 2 Tahun 2019 (page 5 of the regulation).
