In addition to the testing scope, the new lab list also indicates each foreign lab’s testing scopes. Some lab may have the complete testing scopes, but DJID may not list them all. - Test facility address
The test lab’s address and the test facility address are almost identical but they are slightly different. testing facilities maybe located in several areas in one registered test lab’s address. As we see in DJID list, one lab address can have several testing facility addresses.

The test report file is issued in .pdf format, this digital signature can be checked when we open the test report file in the signature panel. We should check whether the signature verification is a person from the lab or not. - Testing applicant information
Although it is possible the local company name becomes the testing applicant at foreign test lab, but the most common case we often find the test report applicant is the foreign manufacturing company. In this case, you should prepare permission letter from the test report owner to use it for DJID certification process.
After these items in the test reports and other documents are confirmed by the customer, then we can continue to the submission process.
- Submission process
The submission process for this paperwork is also similar with the process that we start via local testing process. However, for the paperwork process, the lead time starts at this stage. Although the uploading process is the same, we still have to pay more attention when submitting the test report data. In this section, there is a designed place to choose the lab name, testing facility address, test report owner information and the field to upload the permission letter.
After all documents are uploaded and submitted, the evaluation process until we get the certification invoice from DJID will take around 5-8 workdays. The remaining process are exactly the same with the certification process using local testing process.
