SDPPI Extends the Acceptance of Non-Recognized Laboratories EMC Test Report

Dear Customers and friends! Hope this announcement finds you well.

We’re pretty sure this is the news that some people might be waiting for. Yes, as stated on the title above, SDPPI has published their latest announcement to inform their decision in extending the policy non-recognized laboratories EMC Test Report acceptance to do paperwork.

Previously, the due date of this acceptance was on December 31st 2018. But, because of several issues that still happen in both authorized local EMC testing labs, which are over capacity on BPPT Laboratory, and the measuring equipment calibration process of BARISTAND Surabaya that’s still not finished yet, so SDPPI decided to extend their policy in accepting EMC test report which is issued by testing laboratories that are not listed in SDPPI-recognized International testing labs until January 31st 2019.

And just like the previous requirements, some parameters are still applied to the laboratories who issued the EMC test report. The parameters are:

Laboratories who issue the EMC test report needs to have telecommunication equipment testing accreditation based on ISO 17025, and accredited by accreditation body who signed Asia Pacific Laboratory Accreditation Cooperation-Mutual Recognition Arrangement (APLAC-MRA), International Laboratory Accreditation Cooparation-Mutual Recognition Arrangement (ILAC-MRA), and/or recognized by International Electrotechnical Committee System of Conformity Assessment Schemes for Electrotechnical Equipments and Components (IECEE) scheme from Certification Body Testing Laboratories (CBTLs).

Below is the official announcement about that was issued by SDPPI.

Lastly, one thing that needs to be noted is that for RF test report, it still needs to be issued by SDPPI-Recognized testing Lab, and no compromise about it.

That’s all we need to inform. Should you have any questions about this, please be free to contact us.

Thank you.
