Change of Domestic Components Level (TKDN) Minimum Percentage

Happy Ramadhan for those who celebrate! On this second week of Ramadhan, Directorate General Of Posts and Information (SDPPI) issued an announcement regarding minimum percentage of Domestic Components Level (TKDN) that products with LTE and 5G Technology must achieve. This announcement is issued through SDPPI website in this link. And here is the screenshot.

According to the Ministry of Communication and Informatics Regulation number 13 of 2021 about Technical Standard of Telecommunication Equipment based on Long Term Evolution and/or International Mobile Telecommunications-2020, staring from April 18th 2022, Subscriber Station Telecommunication Devices based on Long Term Evolution and/or International Mobile Telecommunications-2020 technologies are mandatory to fulfill the minimum domestic Components Level [TKDN] of 35% (thirty five percent)

Based on the the above, starting from April 18th 2022, certification application for mobile cellular phone, tablet, handheld computer, and Wi-Fi (MiFi) modem with Long Term Evolution (LTE) and/or International Mobile Telecommunications-2020 (5G) technology are mandatory to enclose legal proof from the Ministry of Industry with the achievement of minimum 35% of Domestics Components Level (TKDN).
