Why We Care

Affixing the correct conformity mark is important for buyer, manufacturer, and importer. For buyer, from the conformity mark they can see that the product they bought has complied with local standard. As for the manufacturer and importer, properly affixing the label, in the correct way according to the rule, will prevent them from getting sanction from the government. For South Korea Type Approval, although the product has undergone conformity assessment, but if the product is not correctly labelled, they will be punished with fine up to 3 million won and certification is cancelled. That’s why we need to pay attention on the correct labelling process.
