Singapore Type Approval managed by IMDA (Infocomm Media Development Agency). That’s why the approval process is called “IMDA Type Approval” or “IMDA certification”. According to IMDA policy, any Telecommunication and radio-communication devices that will be imported and sold for being used in Singapore is mandatory to apply IMDA certification. This activity is carried out to make sure that the telecommunication product used in Singapore has complied with IMDA standards.
Then, who can apply for IMDA certification in Singapore? According to the regulation, any companies that deal with sales or imports activity of telecommunication equipment that will be used in Singapore, must apply for IMDA certificate registration. The applicant of this registration process must be the company who hold valid Telecommunication Dealer’s License with IMDA.
Why We Care
