1.  SNI 04-37:2013: SNI Certification for Powder Fire Extinguisher

  • Type and Class of Fire: SNI 04-37:2013 classifies fire extinguisher powder based on the type and class of fire it can extinguish, such as A (solid materials), B (liquid fuels and gasses), and C (electrical installations).
  • Tube Capacity: The size of fire extinguisher powder varies, ranging from 1 kg to 10 kg.
  • Extinguishing Material: SNI 04-37: 2013 specifies the extinguishing agent used in fire extinguisher powder, which is a dry powder made from phosphate salts, ammonium sulfate, and other materials.
  • Working Pressure: The working pressure of fire extinguisher powder is set to ensure optimal extinguishing performance and user safety.
  • Performance Test: SNI 04-37:2013 describes test methods to ensure fire extinguisher powder meets performance requirements, such as extinguishing ability, pressure resistance, and corrosion resistance.

2.  SNI 04-38:2013: SNI Certification for Foam Fire Extinguisher

  • Type and Class of Fire: SNI 04-38:2013 classifies types of fire extinguisher foam based on the type and class of fire it can extinguish, such as A (solid materials) and B (liquid and gas fuels).
  • Tube Capacity: The capacity of fire extinguisher foam canisters varies, ranging from 1 kg to 10 kg.
  • Extinguishing Material: SNI 04-38: 2013 specifies the extinguishing agents used in fire extinguisher foam, namely water solutions and foaming agents.
  • Working Pressure: The working pressure of the fire extinguisher foam is set to ensure optimal extinguishing performance and user safety.
  • Performance Test SNI 04-38:2013 outlines test methods to ensure fire extinguisher foam meets performance requirements, such as extinguishing ability, pressure resistance, and corrosion resistance.

3. SNI 04-39:2013: SNI Certification for CO2 Fire Extinguisher

  • Types and Class: SNI 04-39:2013 classifies CO2 fire extinguishers based on the type and class of fire they can extinguish, such as B (liquid and gas fuels) and C (electrical installations).
  • Tube Capacity: The CO2 fire extinguisher tube capacity varies, ranging from 1 kg to 10 kg.
  • Extinguishing Material: SNI 04-39: 2013 specifies the extinguishing agent used in CO2 fire extinguishers, namely high-pressure carbon dioxide (CO2) gas.
  • Working Pressure.The working pressure of the CO2 fire extinguisher is set to ensure optimal extinguishing performance and user safety.
  • Performance Test: SNI 04-39:2013 describes test methods to ensure CO2 fire extinguishers meet performance requirements, such as extinguishing ability, pressure resistance, and corrosion resistance.
