This oil contains various types of nutrients that are good for the health of the body so it is often used for cooking ingredients, and even skin care.

Yes, you heard us right, soybean oil can help you to prevent mosquito bites because soy oil contains natural compounds, such as linoleic acid, which possess insect-repellent properties.

This is supported by studies showing that soybean oil can protect the skin from mosquito bites for up to 2-4 hours. 

Therefore, it can be used as a remedy to prevent mosquito bites and transmittable diseases, such as dengue fever.

Other than mosquitoes, soy oil is also able to be an effective defense against various pests, including, flies, and ticks.

Which mean, that the vitamin K can prevent our bones to become thin and lose their strength as they become less dense and their quality is reduced.

5. Lower The Risk of Heart Attack

The omega-3 content in soybean oil can reduce the risk of coronary heart disease. 

This is because these fatty acids can reduce bad cholesterol (LDL) levels and prevent the accumulation of cholesterol plaques in blood vessels or atherosclerosis, which can interfere with heart function.

6. Lower The Risk of Cancer

Apart from coronary heart disease, omega-3 in soybean oil can also reduce the risk of cancer. 

This is because the content is good for controlling cell damage that can end up becoming cancerous. However, this still needs to be supported by further research.

Also, we all know that soybean oil is indeed a super type of oil, but you can’t get the benefit of it except if you choose the quality one.

But how do you know the quality of soybean oil to choose in the first place? Well, as in Indonesia, the cooking oils are advised to be certified by the SNI certification.

The SNI certification itself is a type of product certification that covers a lot if not every product that is sold and distributed in Indonesia, and cooking oil is no exception.

This certification regulates the quality and also the safety of products in Indonesia.

And for the standard itself, it is clearly stated in SNI 3741:2013 that regulates cooking oils!
