This new technical standard is called \u201cKEPMEN KOMINFO Nomor 60 of 2022\u201d, or Decree of The Minister of Communication and Information Republic of Indonesia, Number 60 The Year 2022. In the past, this kind of telecommunication device is mandatory to do functional testing in local laboratories based on local standard <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dimulti.id\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/12\/IP-Network-Device-Requirements-PM-Kominfo-No-10-Tahun-2019.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">PERMEN KOMINFO NO 10 Tahun 2019.<\/a> Purpose of functional test is to check some functional parameters such as routing protocols, interface, addressing system, etc.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Functional test couldn\u2019t be skipped because this kind of testing is only applicable in Indonesia, and there is no international standard which equal or similar to PERMEN KOMINFO NO 10 Tahun 2019. Therefore, local test was Ethernet-Network Device was mandatory to obtain functional test report.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>But now, with the issuance of new KEPMEN KOMINFO NO 60 OF 2022, Ethernet Network Telecommunication Device can apply SDPPI certification by doing paperwork. Functional test report that was only obtainable by doing local functional test can be replaced by making Declaration of Conformity to IEEE standards 802.3. This self-declaration should be signed by applicant, and the purpose is to declare that the product has complied with the IEEE 802.3.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In other words, required test reports to apply SDPPI certification for Ethernet Network Telecommunication Device are:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC) Test Report Based on CISPR 32 Standard<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Electrical Safety Test Report Based on IEC 60950-1 or IEC 62368-1 Standard<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Laser Safety Test Report Based on IEC 60825 Standard<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Interface Test Report<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p>Note:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Laser Safety Test Report Based on IEC 60825 is only required if the product has optical interface<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>If the product using Ethernet Interface based on IEEE 802.3, then interface test report (point number 4) can be skipped by providing Declaration of Conformity to IEEE standards 802.3 for ethernet interface requirements.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>And if there\u2019s other type of interface for example Cellular or other Radio Frequency interface, we need to submit test report of this interface.
