This type of certification is mandatory to be obtained by all broadcasting and communication products that are not mandatory to get Certificate of Conformity (CoC), or the product that are not subject of CoC. Interim of Conformity is a certification scheme applied to the broadcasting and communication products that don’t fall into any technical criteria of conformity assessment in South Korea. For this, conformity assessment can be done using other country’s standards. As a result, the standard region, conditions, and validity of the certificate in another country will be mentioned.
