One of the main questions that’s usually asked when starting approval certification process is about the required documents. There is no wonder about it because document one factor that determines the success of type approval certification. That’s why the list of required documents also depends on what approach is applied to the certification process itself. So, we need to know whether the certification can be processed through paperwork or local test approach. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Particularly for South Korea Type Approval, the process will be conducted through local test approach. Therefore, in terms of required documents, there are two sets of requirements: documents for testing purpose and documents for certification purposes. For testing process, the list consists of:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

  1. Antenna specification. This document must contain the information about Maximum Gain and the Gain pattern.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  2. Circuit diagram<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  3. Part location (Or the inside photo of the product which can be identified by the part number.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  4. Korean user manual<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  5. Application form<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  6. Testing guide (detail) & Program\/software<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

    After all these documents are available, local test in South Korean Laboratory can be processed. And then, after test is finished, we can move to the evaluation process before certificate ca be finally issued. For this process, the list of required documents is:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    1. User’s manual,<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    2. Test report (issued by the authorized testing agency or the testing agency in an MRA country),<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    3. Appearance drawing,<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    4. Part arrangement diagram or picture,<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    5. Circuit diagram,<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    6. Letter of representation<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n
