Well in Vietnam, manufacturer can be the certificate holder if only the manufacturer has local representative there. Otherwise, certificate holder must be Vietnamese companies. It can be the real importer or distributor of the product. Then, how if the manufacturer doesn’t have local representative in Vietnam and they haven’t engaged with any local importer or distributor yet? However, when the certificate is held by partner agency, there’s a consequence that we must take into account. Certificate hold by local agency cannot be used for actual import. This means that the certificate is only usable for marketing or promotion purpose.
